Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01:Kathmandu to Lukla flight by small aircraft and trek to Phakding Today you will start your Everest base camp 10 days trek. Our company representative will pick you up from your hotel and will drop you at the domestic airport. From there you will fly towards Lukla and a regular flight. During your scenic flight to Lukla, you will get a chance to witness beautiful mountains, forests, lakes, settlements, stupas, and many more.
    Upon reaching Lukla you will have lunch and start your trek to Phakding. It takes around 3 to 4 hours to reach Phakding. You will be walking through many up and down hills enjoying the beautiful view of mountains, lush green forest, suspension bridges, local settlements, and many more. Some of the mountains that are seen during the trek are Mount Karyolung, Mount Kusum Kanguru, Mount Nupla, and Mount Gongla. After reaching Phakding, you will explore the village for a few more hours and interact with the locals. In the evening, you will rest for the night in a hotel or tea house after having dinner.
  • Day 02:Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar The trek to Namche Bazaar starts after completing all the morning routines and breakfast. During your trek to Namche Bazaar, you will walk through a beautiful forest of rhododendron and pine, and will also be trekking uphills through settlements and so on. After a few hours of walking, you will reach a village called Monjo (which is also the entrance gate of Sagarmatha National Park). Here, you can explore the Sherpa Museum and Sagarmatha National Park Museum.
    From there, you will hike for a few more hours along with stunning views of mountains like Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Nuptse, Mount Ama Dablam, etc. It takes 5 to 6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar from Pkhading where you will witness beautiful mountain views, lush green forest, settlements, museums, monasteries, and many more. After reaching Namche, you will stay in hotels and lodges for the day.
  • Day 03:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung After having breakfast, you will start your trek to Khumjung. you will be walking uphills through the lush green forest of rhododendron along with the amazing view of mountains. it's a short 1 to 2 hours of the hike where you will walk through lush green forest, hills, and settlements along with mountain views like Lhotse, Nuptse, Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and so on.
    After reaching Khumjung, you will have lunch and explore the village. If you want to visit Syangboche, then you can hike for an hour and enjoy the delicious food in Hotel Everest View with a beautiful view of the mountain in front. You can also visit some of the tempting places like hospitals, schools, monasteries, and many more. After exploring the village you will be staying in tea houses or lodges for the night.
  • Day 04:Trek to Tengboche Today, you will be trekking to Tengboche after completing all the morning routines. The trek to Tengboche takes around 5 to 6 hours to complete. The path to Tengboche falls on the riverside of Phungi Thanga town from where you will ascend upward to Tengboche village. During your trek to Tengboche, you will walk through the forest of rhododendron and up hills with the stunning view of Mount Ama Dablam. T
    his trek also offers the chance to witness other mountains like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, etc. After reaching Tengboche, you will explore the village, the famous Tengboche monastery, Sagarmatha National Park and its headquarter office and many more. You will also witness Mani Stones, prayer flags, prayer wheels, gompas, etc. You can also enjoy your evening in hotels and have some delicious food and interact with the locals, get a chance to know about their daily lifestyle, culture, traditions, and many more. Stay overnight at hotel or lodge.
  • Day 05:Trek to Dingboche / Village exploration day Today, you will be trekking towards Dingboche from Tengboche after completing all the morning routines and breakfast. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach Dingboche from Tengboche. On the way, you will be walking approximately 30 minutes down to the river intersecting the lush green forest along with the riverway. From there, you will hike up a steady steep slope towards Pangboche village.
    Throughout your trek, you will witness many Chortens, Mani Walls, prayer flags along with the beautiful view of Ama Dablam. in the evening, you will trek toward Pheriche from where you will walk to Imka valley and follow the last vertical road you will reach the days' destination that is Dingboche. You can also take a short trek to Nagarjuna Danda in your spare time or visit the famous Dingboche monastery. then you will stay at a hotel and rest for the day.
  • Day 06:Hike to Chhukung and back to Dingboche After breakfast at Dingboche, you will get a chance to enjoy the mountains of Ama Dablam, Tawache, Cholatse, and Nuptse-Lhotse during the trek to Chukhung. The route passes through the Stone Wall area and the Imja River valley before entering the glacier moraine in the middle of the Himalayas. Then the road continues to Bibre, a yak shepherd place.
    The valley is directly bordered by the Ama Dablam and Amphu Labsa mountain while the road ahead is flanked by icy streams. After 3 to 4 hours of walking, you will reach Chhukung from where, you can also choose to head to the rocky pier of Chukhung Ri, which offers memorable views of Lhotse, the island peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, and others. You will return back to Dingboche on the very same day and stay at tea houses and rest for the day.
  • Day 07:Trek to Lobuche After having breakfast in the morning, you will start your trek to Lobuche. We will be walking towards Dusa passing through the Khumbu river valley, from there the valley becomes limited and you will be passing through Phuong Karpo. During trekking, you will get a chance to witness the stunning view of Chola lake along with Pumori mountain. They will slowly start to disappear when the path descends and then you will head toward streams.
    At the crossroad, you will be walking through a small forest which will lead you to Dugla. Upon reaching, you will trek to the highest terminal of Khumbu glacier and slowly the path goes to Lobuche. During your trek, you will see mountain peaks and ranges like Pumori, Lobuche, Nuptse, Thamserku, Taboche, and Kangtega. After 5 to 6 hours of trekking, you will reach your day's destination and will be staying at the local tea houses and resting for the day.
  • Day 08:Trek to Gorak Shep to EBC to Gorakshep Today, you will be trekking to Everest base camp from Gorakshep and back. You will be completing this whole trek in around 6 to 7 hours. After completing all the morning routines you will be heading towards Gorakshep which is the last settlement of the Everest trekking routes.
    During your trek to Gorekshep, you will be walking along the Khumbu glacier and through uphills and downhills. Upon reaching the village, you will have lunch and start your trek toward Everest base camp. While starting your trek to the base camp of Mount Everest, you will witness the stunning view of the Everest. You will also see the north edge of Everest and its surrounding peaks. After spending some time there, you will be returning back to Gorakshep and spending the rest of the day at the lodges of Gorakshep.
  • Day 09:Hike to Kala Patthar / Heli flight from Gorakshep to Lukla / Lukla village exploration You will be hiking to Kala Patthar and return back to Gorakshep today. From there they will take you back to Lukla on the very same day. You will be starting your trek early to enjoy the stunning view of sunrise. Trekking for around 2 hours, you will reach Kala Patthar - the vantage point in the Everest region which is just above the base camp of Mount Everest. Upon reaching the viewpoint, you will be offered a stunning view of Mount Everest and its neighboring peaks. When the sun rises and changes the shade of the mountains, you will be amazed by the view in front of you.
    During the sunrise, the Everest turns golden and the view in front of you will make your whole trip worthy and memorable. After spending some time, you will be returning back to Gorakshep. You will have lunch and pack your bags and the helicopter will take you back to the Lukla. After reaching Lukla, you can explore the village or rest for the day in a hotel or lodge.
  • Day 10:Fly back to Kathmandu with a regular aircraft flight Today is the last day of this trek where you will be returning back to Kathmandu from Lukla on a regular flight.
    During your flight back to Kathmandu, you will be enjoying the beauty of the valleys, settlements, temples, forests, and so on from the top. After reaching Kathmandu, the company representative will drop you back at your hotel. After reaching the hotel, you can either rest for the day or roam around the places.
