4 Days Trek to the Base Camp known as Hotel Everest View Trek

4 days trek to the base camp is known as the Hotel Everest view trek. It is because the trekking itinerary includes hiking to the Hotel Everest view and exploring around. On the first day of the trek, you will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Monjo. Then, on the next day, you will walk from Monjo to Namche Bazaar and stay overnight.

Now, there comes the day when you will hike to Hotel Everest View from Namche Bazaar. On this day you will explore around and hail down to Khumjung and stay there.     Kathmandu - Monjo - Namche Bazaar - Hotel Everest View - Kala Patthar / EBC - Kathmandu

    1. Hotel Everest View trek starts from Kathmandu. The company representative will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport. It will take around 25 to 30 minutes to reach Lukla. 
    2. From Lukla, you will hike toward Monjo via a Himalayan pathway. It will take around 3 to 4 hours to reach Monjo. The next day, the trail moves towards Namche Bazaar and it will take around 5 to 6 hours to reach there. 
    3. The following day, you will walk along the forest and settlement trail, to reach Hotel Everest View. Here, you will have the option to stay overnight at Hotel Everest view or walk back to Khumjung and stay over. 
    4. The average walking time of the day is about 5 to 6 hours with an uphill and downhill trail. On the last day, you will fly to Kala Patthar or Everest base camp via helicopter, spend a few moments there and return back to Kathmandu via Lukla.

    Early in the morning, our company representative will receive you from your hotel. And transfer to the domestic air terminal (Tribhuvan International Airport) in private transportation. Here, after all the formalities, you will pass into the small airplane flying from Kathmandu to Lukla. 

    It will take around 25 to 30 minutes to reach Lukla from Kathmandu. En route, one can have the most beautiful and panoramic view of high mountains, green hills, lush forest, flowing rivers, small or big waterfalls, blooming flora, and the snowy landscape.

    Lukla Airport – one of the most dangerous airports in the world at an altitude of 2,860 meters, remains another major attraction of the day. After arrival in Lukla, you will march towards Monjo through the beautiful Sherpa villages such as Ghat, Chukung, and Phakding. Monjo is only 9 kilometers away from Lukla and it will take about 3 to 4 hours to complete the distance. Stay overnight at a hotel/lodge in Monjo.

    You will start this day with breakfast at a hotel in Monjo. The track of the day passes following the Dudh Koshi River. Also, one will see the adorable valley of blue pine forest, rhododendron, and fir vegetation, in all the main seasons. 

    The day trail is easier and smooth to complete.  It takes around 5 to 6 hours to cover the distance of the day. On the way, you will pass through the suspension bridge and reach the village named Benkar, crossing which, the destination of the day – Namche Bazaar arrives. Stay overnight at a hotel/lodge in Namche Bazaar.

    Today, you will hike uphill to Hotel Everest view after early breakfast. It will take around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Hotel Everest view (Syangboche) from Namche Bazaar. 

    You will spend some time in the Hotel Everest view and explore the Khumjung region. En-route you will be able to get in close touch with the local market, restaurants, bakeries, and different souvenir shops.

The atlernative Hotels will be Sherpa Panorama Hotel or similar.

    Early in the morning at around 06:30 am wake up. Have breakfast at Hotel Everest view. After breakfast, we will provide you helicopter and fly towards Kala Patthar / Everest Base Camp. The helicopter will not hold for a long moment, so you need to be in a good-to-go position. 

    It takes around 12 to 15 minutes to reach the final destination (Kala Patthar/EBC). You will pause there for around 5 to 10 minutes for photographs and videos. Enjoy the most authentic close-eye view of the highest mountain in the world!

    After spending some time in Kala Patthar/EBC, the helicopter will transfer you to Lukla. It takes around 25 minutes to complete the distance. From Lukla, you will take a regular flight to Kathmandu.

    It will take around 25 minutes to reach Kathmandu from Lukla. From Kathmandu airport, our team members will drop you at your respective hotel in private transportation.
