Namche to Lukla helicopter or Lukla to Namche helicopter flights are mostly demanded by the clients. It is because the uphill from Lukla to Namche takes 2 days. Trekking from Lukla to Namche Bazar is moderate in level.
After spending a night at Phakding, the following day, with 7 to 8 hours of uphill you will reach Namche Bazar. It is suitable for travelers who want to skip the trekking part and return to Lukla via a scenic flight with no hassle.
Namche Bazaar to Lukla by bus
Travelers can complete the distance between Namche Bazaar and Lukla via trekking, which takes 2 days via Phakding. And each day needs 4 to 7 hours of trekking. In this situation, the question may arise: can you visit Lukla from Namche or Namche from Lukla by bus?
It is not possible yet because of the rough trails and landscape. But soon in the future, you will be able to travel between Namche Bazaar and Lukla by bus, car or other land vehicles. Similar is the case with Kathmandu to Namche by road travel.
There is no provision of by-road travel to Namche Bazaar from Kathmandu till now, but, in near future, it can be possible. However, you can utilize the airbus i.e. helicopter to execute the pick-up and drop-off service between these two places.
