We should walk gently and drink plenty of water or liquid. Upon arrival at Dingboche, you can visit the local people's houses, their lifestyles, cultures, traditions, religious monasteries, and varying communities. we will stay overnight in the best hotel rooms (Dingboche Resort, Good Luck Home, Bright Field Hotel) for comfortable accommodation and warm food and beverages too.

Today is the second last day of the trek which will be amazing. It is the day we will be on the foot of Mt. At the very beginning, you will hike upward to Gorakshep (5164 m) from Lobuche, we walk northeast along the Khumbu glacial moraine and have a warm lunch there. The walk is quite demanding due to the higher altitude and one needs to care while walking over the wide boulders and loose rocks. Then, you will ascend toward the base camp of Mount Everest at an altitude of 5380 m. In Gorakshep, we will check in at our best lodge (Hotel Buddha, Hotel Everest Inn, or similar), get refreshed, and take plenty of pictures of Himalayan ranges. The view observed from there is worthwhile, every trouble and tiredness that arises during the trekking in the preceding days will vanish surprisingly. We will spend some minutes or hours in the base and observe and enjoy the calm environment with cold air. Usually, mountain weather becomes cloudy and foggy towards the afternoon but if it is crystal clear we need to see the sunset over the mountains striking the peaks from Gorakshep is breathtaking.

The major attractions of the day remain the mountains like Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Changtse, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Chumbu. After beautiful moments got captured in the base camp, we will descend back to Gorakshep. The total walking time of the day is around 4 to 5 hours with a moderate pace to reach the destination.  After spending some time at the Everest Base Camp and celebrating the grand success with the mesmerizing view we get back to Gorakshep. Despite being just 1.2 km, it generally takes 2-3 hours to reach Kala Patthar from Gorekshep where you can have a mesmerizing pictures of Mt. Everest and other giant mountains. Frequently Asked Questions
    • Q1. How will the meal during the Luxury Lodge Trek be?

The food will be served on a BLD (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner) schedule during the Luxury Lodge trek. The menu will include Nepali food as well as dishes from other countries (Continental, Tibetan, Italian, Indian, etc.), along with hot chocolate, different kinds of bread, drinks, and snacks. The hotel/lodge where you'll spend the night will provide breakfast and dinner, and the hotel/teahouse you'll pass on the walk will provide lunch.

    • Three distinct types of accommodations will be available for the Luxury Lodge Trek. While hiking, you will stay in the best hotel or lodge with various luxuries services. Even while the services won't be like those at Kathmandu's hotels, they will still be well-kept and convenient compared to what the Himalayas can provide in terms of facilities. Additionally, you will be sharing a twin room, while a single room is available for an additional charge.

    • The most important aspect of a luxury lodge trek is physical fitness. If you have no previous trekking experience, you can start by going for morning bike rides or walks for a month or more before reserving your trip with us. If you have prior hiking experience, that will be to your advantage. The elevation gain on this walk is the largest at Kala Patthar, the highest viewpoint for trekking in the Everest region, at 5,545 meters above sea level. As long as you have the energy, you can walk for 3 to 7 hours as directed by the planned route, which includes many ups and downs as well as strolls through nearby villages, farms, and rivers.

    • Altitude sickness generally occurs only if you are unable to cope with the high altitude temperature and weather. So, there is no exact answer to whether you will get altitude sickness or not.

Altitude Sickness is also known as AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). Normally over 3,000 meters people start to feel some effect of altitude sickness. Usually, AMS involve serious headache, sickness, and loss of awareness. At the point when you feel symptoms of AMS, it would be better if you tell your trekking guide. He will advise you to manage your problem. For the most part, over physical strain and dehydration contribute to altitude sickness. So, we recommend drinking around 3 to 4 liters of water each day other than tea, coffee, and other beverages which act as diuretics.

    • Autumn and spring are the ideal times to go on the luxury lodge trek. The months of March, April, May, September, and October fall during these times of year. With a bright sky, a calmer breeze, and less precipitation, the weather is ideal for trekking across the Everest Himalayas at this time. Similarly, the views of the mountains and the surrounding natural beauty are stunning and worth taking in for days.

    • During the luxury lodge trek, you will walk for around 3 to 7 hours per day, as per the itinerary covering the 9 to 18 kilometers distance. However, it depends on the altitude and condition of the pathway.

    • There are toilets available in hotels, lodges, and tea houses in most of the places. While on the trek, you will be directed to a safe place.

    • The required permits for the luxury lodge trek are listed below:

      • Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit (NPR 3000 Per Person)

      • Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit (NPR 2000 Per Person)

    • Before making travel arrangements, the weather will be checked. If the weather were to turn poor or dangerous while we were trekking, we might think about waiting it out until it was calm before continuing, and only then, if it was still safe to walk farther.

      Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek

Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek was beyond my wildest dreams. The journey was strenuous, but the five-star lodgings made it worthwhile. Everything about this trek was first-rate, from the warm cabins to the tasty cuisine. Visiting Everest Base Camp and getting an up-close look at the world's most recognizable peak was the highlight of my trip. The fact that you need not retrace your steps is another wonderful aspect of this hike. You'll take a helicopter ride back to Kathmandu, taking in the sights on the way. Any traveler in search of a little extra comfort should make time for this hike.
