Booked a 8day tour with 5 days trekking up to 'Gorepani Poon hill' with Binod. Binod was highly recommended by a friend who has taken more than 3 tours with him so being a female solo traveller my mind was put to ease. Binod was very promt to send me replies to my many emails re tour and what to bring to Nepal and the details of the tour. From the moment i landed to my departure i had no reason to worry as all necessary details were taken care of....from transport in Kathmandu to moving around in Phokara with a paragliding trip all i had to do was just be there. My guide Shiva made sure i was safe at all times on the trekk and never left my sight on the trekk during some steep climbs even lifting my pac as it was a lil challenging at times. Anil at the hotel made sure all was ok with the rooms and showed me where to go for shops ect.....all in all i definalty recommend their services as my time in Nepal was limited and they made sure to take care of all the small things that i would have found time consuming on my trip.....will definatly be back as Nepal and its people are so welcoming with big hearts....Namaste
NTA arranged a Poon Hill trek and stays in Kathmandu and Pokhara for me and two friends. Every aspect of the trip was fantastic! Binod was responsive and helpful in planning for the trip, and was very flexible with our shorter time frame for completing the trek. The pickup service at the airport and comfortable lodging at the Hotel Veda in KTM made for a great start and an easy welcome in KTM, and that great service continued throughout our time in KTM before and after the trek. Binod, the front desk attendants at Hotel Veda, and all of the NTA staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our trekking experience was a highlight for all three of us. Krishna (our guide) and Razon (our porter) were awesome! We would absolutely recommend NTA to our friends. We wish we could do it all over again!
I was so fortunate to be referred to Binod and his crew through friends and have been thrilled to pass on the recommendation! My 4 day trek to Poon Hill was an unforgettable adventure - the place of my dreams that I didn't know existed! Binod and his guides are friendly, knowledgeable and facilitated a seamless trek. As a young woman traveling on my own, I felt safe and well-cared for in their company and was able to experience Nepal in an unforgettable way.
We went on the poon hill trek. It was amazing and very beautiful and an inspiring guide was professional and sweet. One of the best experience of my life. A good person with no pressure
The lodges are fairly basic. The rooms are spare with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided. There is a large dining room-cum-lounge, warmed by the Bukhara stove (an iron cylinder, fitted with a chimney duct) in which a log fire is lighted. There is normally no electric lighting in the rooms unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually has solar lighting. Most teahouses now also have electricity for charging small appliances - mobile phones and cameras - and there may be a small charge for this.

But the danger of height ailment in the Poon Hill district is beside zero, as the maximum altitude we travel is just around 3,210 meters. So, trekking in this place is safe and trekkers don't have to worry much as well.
