This Ghorepani Poon Hill 4 Days Trek route is beautiful and the trekking is easier on months when there is no rain or snow. So, the best time would be from September to November (autumn) and March to May (spring). In these months, the climate remains clearer and the temperature remains moderate. Only the morning and evenings are a bit frosty, leaving the days perfectly clear for splendid views of the mountains and surroundings. The rainy or snowy season might halt the trek midway or the skies might not be so clear and you might miss the mesmerizing views. However, the trek can be done all year round and if you are lucky then you also get to experience the ever intimidating and mesmerizing views of the mountain ranges and greenery around.
The Poon Hill 4 Days trek is categorized under “easy” level but we would put it in the moderate to difficult basket. It is not impossible but it is also not as a walk in a park. Comparing this trek to that of Everest Base Camp or the Annapurna Circuit, then yes it’s easier but there were times it was a definite challenging.

I highly recommend the Ghorepani poon hill 4 days trek. In such a less time we went to one of the top destinations of Nepal and had the glance of most wonderful golden Himalayas from the viewpoint. The difficulty level of Ghorepani poon hill is very less than any other treks in this region. I, being a person with normal physical fitness could easily accomplish this trek. I will try greater treks in the future as this trek has built up the confidence level in me. All was possible due to Nepal Trek Adventure team. I thought the trek would be difficult but they convinced me and encouraged that I can easily fulfill the trek. They also took care of me throughout the journey and made sure I was comfortable. I highly appreciate your effort in this trip.
Nepal is blessed to have such unique beauty. After going for the Annapurna base camp trek, having the closest view of mountains, I also wanted to get the best distant view as well. Both the views were equally mesmerizing and eye-catching. Nepal left us speechless by its natural mountainous beauty. Ghorepani poon hill trek is a short and easy trek but still gives the perfect satisfaction to the travelers. I can recommend this trek for every nature and mountain-loving people.
The cultural diversity in Nepal is beautiful. The Magar and Gurung people residing here and their lifestyle were very unique. The destination and journey of the trek, everything was beautiful. The path into the rhododendron forests, the view of birds and the terraces were beautiful along with the major terminus of the journey. A perfect trek having an adventure in less time and less effort in a major part of a beautiful country with a perfect guide having all the information and supporting you.
NTA is a very professional agency managing everything very fast and smoothly. I could not believe that within a day they managed everything related to the trek and provided a well-experienced guide to make the trek beautiful and informative as well. All the 4 days I spent on this was amazing. The local villages, the waterfalls, the suspension bridges and terrace farming on the way to Ghorepani were awesome and then the most gorgeous part of the trip was the golden sunshine. It released all my stress and relaxed me with positive energy inside me. The hospitality of NTA was very good which made an excellent trek.
Due to lack of time, I could not go for a deep exploration of Annapurna but Ghorepani Poonhill 4 days trek was also not less adventurous. In 4 days I could go for a trek to the Annapurna region and view the beautiful panoramic landscapes and Himalayas. The views were great from the poon hill viewpoint. Early morning, we could get the sight of most beautiful shades of Himalayas. It seemed like the mountains were giving a warm welcoming smile that just melted our heart. The trip was very successful. Though I could not go for deep exploration, I will make it next time with Nepal Trek Adventures. I will surely contact NTA again and again. The hospitality of NTA was more than awesome. Their enthusiasm and encouraging behavior would attract any traveler.

There is normally no electric lighting in the rooms unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually has solar lighting. Trekking in Annapurna areas is the best in spring (End of February, March, April, and May) and autumn (September, October, and November). The days are sunny and warm but however, the nights are a bit colder and can fall to freezing at higher elevations. Poon Hill trek is possible throughout the year. The trail gets busier in the spring and autumn time however monsoon and winter is somewhat calmer. The climatic condition of Poon hill is pleasant throughout the year, but somehow in the winter months, the temperature of Ghorepani drops below zero degrees. The minimum temperature of the Poon Hill gets to -4 degrees in January. Poon Hill has quite pleasant and suitable weather. If you want to trek during the monsoon season, make sure you watch the weather forecast. And pack accordingly in order to make your trekking experience smooth and comfortable.
Trekking to the mountains means there is always one factor at play and i.e. the altitude. Trekking to high altitude can be risky for anyone and can fall a victim to altitude sickness. But do not worry. This risk of altitude sickness in the Poon hill is quite low. It is because; you will ascend to the maximum height up to 2,874 meters only.
Furthermore, with such low altitude along the treks, there is a rare chance that the altitude will make your Poon Hill trek difficult.
