Annapurna circuit express trek is a tailor-made tea house trekking adventure for 10 days. It is best suited for those trekkers who want to enjoy a short trekking experience in a limited cost and time frame. The itinerary is designed in such fashion that one can enjoy hiking around the Annapurna circuit safely in a quick time. Annapurna Circuit Express Trek has its own distinct features. Trekkers unanimously talk about the circuit for its scenic beauty of rivers, flora, fauna, and the best panoramic views of the snowcapped mountains. The trail passes through Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, and Kaski (Myagdi). The trekking goes anti-clockwise from Besisahar to Nayapul and reaches Thorong La Pass at an altitude of 5416 m. It passes a series of mountains like Manaslu (8000m) and Annapurna (8091m).

Similarly, the trail for Annapurna Circuit Express Trek through the mountains like Langtang Himal, Annapurna II and IV, Annapurna III and Gangapurna, and Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri along with the world's deepest gorge (Dana) in between those two 8,000+ meter peaks. The main attraction of Annapurna Circuit Express Trek is Ganga Purna Glacier, Manang Village, Muktinath Temple, and Jomsom Valley. Muktinath temple, a destination visit in the trek, is the religiously and spatially famous temple of Hindu devotees all over the world. Thousands of tourists visit this temple every year. You can reach Muktinath temple from both ways like direct drive or flight (Till Jomsom Only) from Pokhara or with making a circuit loop from Beshishahar (Direct drive from Kathmandu and Pokhara).

The cost for Annapurna Circuit Express Trek becomes a little expensive due to more usages of off-road drive and flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Rather than doing a long (Three Weeks) Annapurna Circuit Express trekking, it's cheaper and reliably designed a new short trek itinerary for Annapurna Region. Due to the elevations starting from Kathmandu (1440 Meters) to Thorong La Pass (5416 Meter), the visitors might get the problems of altitude sickness, so guides and porters are highly recommended for your assistance to succeed (100%) the trip in the best manner. The trip ends at Jomsom Valley after crossing Thorong La pass and exploring the Muktinath Temple. Also, this trip includes a hot spring at Tatopani which is just perfect to refresh your body after long days of trekking.

Annapurna Circuit Express Trek Route

The route that you will take for this Circuit Express Trek to Annapurna is shown as follows:

Kathmandu -> Besisahar -> Chame -> Upper Pisang -> Manang -> Yak Kharka/Ledar -> High Camp -> Muktinath -> Tatopani -> Kathmandu

Annapurna region is the second-best destination for travelers because of its wonderful landscapes, mountain ranges, glaciers, lakes, and also one of the challenging passes (Thorang La Pass) across the world. In those days, Annapurna circuit trekking was famous but nowadays due to road accessibility till Manang and on another side up to Muktinath, this trekking is renamed and known as "Annapurna Circuit Express Trek ''. The reason to develop this itinerary is to avoid the road access part through driving and the rest of the trails by walking. Simply you can drive till Manang in one day from Kathmandu but it is not recommended as the trekking venture is more wonderful with en-route beauties. For trekkers who are planning to cross the Thorong La Pass, a walk along with the Annapurna Conservation Area is a better option than the direct trip to Muktinath. We recommend driving till Chame (District Headquarter of Manang District and the ending point of Manaslu Express Trekking), for easy and comfortable trekking without any high risk of altitude sickness and more physical strain.
