Detail Itinerary
Day 01:Kathmandu to Lukla flight and trek to Phakding Today is the first day of our Everest base camp trek. Our company representative will pick you up from the hotel and will drop you off at the domestic airport from where you will board a flight to Lukla. during the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, you will witness mountains, forests, settlements, temples, and many more.
Upon reaching Lukla, you will have lunch and start your trek to Phakding. the trek to Phakding from Lukla takes around 3 to 4 hours to reach. during the trek, you will be walking through many up and down hills relishing the beautiful view of mountains lush-green forests, suspension bridges, local settlements, and many more. you will also get a chance to appreciate the beautiful view of mountains like Karyolung, Kusum Kanguru, Nupla, and Gongla. After reaching Phakding you will be exploring the village in your spare time. In the evening. you will rest for the day in tea houses.

Day 02:Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar After completing all the morning routines and breakfast, the trek to Namche Bazaar starts. During your trek to Namche Bazaar, you will walk through the beautiful forest of rhododendrons and pines, and also uphill through the settlements, etc. After a few hours of walking, you will reach a village called Monjo (which is also the entrance to Mount Everest National Park). Here, you can explore the Sherpa Museum and the Everest National Park Museum. From there you will walk for a few hours along with the magnificent views of the mountains like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and more. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to complete today's destination during which you will relish mountain views, green forests, settlements, museums, monasteries, and more. After reaching Namche, you will stay in hotels and lodges all day.

Day 03:Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar Today is the acclimatization day to allow our bodies to adjust to higher altitudes. Today you will explore the village and surrounding places and the best way to adapt is to be proactive. you can visit schools and hospitals built by Sir Edmund Hillary as a thank you gift for all the Sherpa people who helped him in his success of climbing Mount Everest. You can roam around the morning market in Namche and visit other places like Nauche Gonda Visitor Center and Sherpa Culture Museum to know about the Sherpa culture and tradition, the oldest house in the town, Khangba Ngingba, museums, healing center, and many more. you can also do a short hike to Thame and explore the village. While exploring Namche you will see some of the mountains like Kwangde, Thamserku, Kangtega, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Mount Everest. In the evening you will return to your hotel or lodge and rest for the day.

Day 04:Trek from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung After breakfast, you will start your trek to Khumjung. You are walking uphill through the green forest of rhododendrons with amazing views of the mountains. This is a short walk of 1 to 2 hours where you will walk through lush green forests, mountains, and settlements as well as mountain views like Lhotse, Nuptse, Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, etc. After reaching Khumjung, have lunch and walk around the village. If you want to visit Sangboche, you can take an hour's walk and enjoy delicious food at Hotel Everest View with a beautiful view of the mountain in front. You can visit some fascinating places like hospitals, schools, monasteries, and many more. After exploring the village you will spend the night in tea houses or lodges.

Day 05:Trek from Khumjung to Tengboche Today, you will complete all the morning routines and hike towards Tengboche. The trek to Tengboche takes about 5 to 6 hours. The road to Tengboche is on the riverbank of Phungi Thanga town from where you go up to Tengboche village. During your trek to Tangboche, you will walk through the rhododendron forest and the uphills with a spectacular view of Ama Dablam. This trek also offers the opportunity to see other mountains like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, etc.
Upon arrival at Tengboche, you will explore the village, the famous Tengboche monastery, Mount Everest National Park and its headquarters, and much more. You will also see mani stone, prayer flags, prayer wheels, gompas, etc. You can enjoy evenings at hotels and eat some delicious food and interact with the locals, know about their daily lifestyle, culture, traditions, and much more. Day 06:Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche Today you will walk from Tengboche to Dingboche after your morning routine and breakfast. On the way to Dingboche, you will walk 30 minutes down rivers through green forests and along the waterways. Afterward, you ascend continuously towards Pangboche village (3860 m), the highest settlement area of the valley. During your trek, you will see lots of Chortens and mani walls with amazing views of Ama Dablam. In the evening, you will continue your trek towards Pheriche from where you will walk in Imja valley, and on the last and vertical route of the day, you will reach Dingboche. It takes about 5 to 6 hours to reach Dingboche. In the evening you will stay at the hotel for the day.

Day 07:Acclimatization at Dingboche / Village exploration day Today we will be staying in Dingboche for acclimatization. Many things can be done to spend the day like a hike to Nagarjunacan is an ideal way to get around Dingboche. Nagarjuna (5,100 m) is located on a hill in the Chukung Valley above Dingboche. Apart from that, you can also visit Imja valley which is covered with stone walls, Khumbu Glacier icefall, an internet café that has been using the highest altitude located satellite and billiard parlors technology, Chortens, and many more. While exploring, you will get a chance to see the stunning view of mountains like Lobuche East, Lobuche West, Kangtega, Taboche Peak, Thamserku, and the Ama Dablam. After exploring the village, you will return to your hotel, have a delicious dinner, and rest for the day.

Day 08:Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche After breakfast, you will start your trek to Lobuche. You will cross the Khumbu river valley and walk towards Dusa, from there the valley is limited and you will pass through Phuong Karpo. During the trek, you will have the opportunity to see the beautiful view of Chola Lake along with Pumori Himal. As the path descends they slowly begin to disappear and then you move towards the streams. At the crossroads, you walk through a small forest that takes you to Dugla. Upon arrival, you will trek to the highest terminal of Khumbu Glacier and slowly make your way to Lobuche. During your trek, you will see mountain peaks and ranges like Pumori, Lobuche, Nuptase, Thamserku, Taboche and Kangtega. After 5 to 6 hours of hiking, you will reach your destination of the day and rest all day at the local tea houses.

Day 09:Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep to Everest base camp and back to Gorakshep Today you will walk to Gorakshep and back to Everest Base Camp. You will complete this entire trek in about 6 to 7 hours. After completing all the morning routines, you are heading towards Gorakshep, the last settlement on the Everest trekking route. During your hiking trail, you will walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up and down hills. After reaching the village, you will have lunch and start your trek towards the Everest base camp. When you start your trek to the base camp of Mount Everest, you will see an amazing view of Mount Everest. You will also see the northern edge of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. After spending some time there, you will return to Gorakshep and spend the rest of the day in Gorakshep lodge.

Day 10:Hike to Kala Patthar / Heli flight from Gorakshep to Lukla / Lukla village exploration Today you will be hiking toward Kala Patthar. So, you will start your trek early in the morning to enjoy the stunning view of sunrise. After walking upward for around 2 hours, you will reach Kala Patthar - the famous viewpoint in the Everest region (just above the base camp Everest).

Upon reaching the viewpoint, you will be offered a magnificent view of Mount Everest along with the neighboring mountains. As the sun slowly rises and changes its unique shade, the view of the mountains becomes more beautiful. At sunrise, Mount Everest is golden which will be a great sight during the entire trek.
After spending some time on Kala Patthar, you will return to Gorakshep and have breakfast, and pack your bags. Then the helicopter takes you to Lukla. After reaching Lukla, one can visit the village during leisure time and stay overnight in a hotel or lodge.

At the hotel, you can either relax for the day or explore the city.

My friend and I completed the trek to Everest base camp in 11 days. It was the best adventure in the Himalayas. The trek to Everest base camp in 11 days was the best day of our life. We made a lot of memories during this trek. The view of mountain chains, sunrise, glacier, icefall, river, streams, and the lush green forest was beautiful. Recently, I did an 11 days trek to Everest base camp with NTA which was amazing. I explored the Everest region within 11 days along with a Heli ride back to Lukla. This whole trek to the base camp of Mount Everest was a memorable event of my life. the view of a stunning mountain and the sunrise was the best scene of this whole trek. I enjoyed this EBC 11 days trek and all the credit goes to NTA and the team. Highly recommended company.
Are there any age limits for Himalayan trekking?
There are no age limits to perform this trek but trekkers must be physically fit and healthy to complete this trek.
How difficult is trekking?
On the scale of difficulty levels, this trek is moderate but it also depends on the client's walking and acclimatizing ability. If the clients are physically fit then it won't be difficult to complete this 11-day EBC trek.
Is previous trekking experience really necessary?
Anyone with good stamina and a physically fit person can cope with higher elevations and lower oxygen density. So, there is no need for any kind of experience for accomplishing this trek.
What's the best time of year to book a trek in Nepal?
The best times for this trek are February to mid-June and September to mid-December. During these months, the weather is most favorable and you will also get the perfect view of mountains and surroundings.
Are any permits required for trekking?
