This trek enables you to explore through the Langtang National Park - home of the Tibetan looking people the Tamangs. Also this area offers Tamang Heritage Trek. We begin our journey by driving north west of Kathmandu to the mountain village of Dhunche, a major village of the Langtang area. The trek starts from here through the farmland, villages and forests of Rhododendron, conifer, bamboo, oaks and pines.2 week trek in langtang valley is more then enough. This trekking is also called a budget trek in Nepal. 

In the spring forest looks enchanting with flowers all around. After passing this fascinating scenery we follow the narrow gorge of Langtang River until we ascend to the large alpine grass land of Kyanjin Gompa where the glacier meets the meadow. You can see Yaks grazing around with the backdrops of snowy peaks of Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorjee Lakpa and many other unnamed mountains around you.

The Langtang valley is aptly called " the valley of glaciers". Here the mountain-scape is spectacular. On either side of valley, mountains rise, soaring into the sky. The valley offers pine forest, slow moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild primulas. In the upper part of the valley there are snow bridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lakes with icebergs floating on them and waters of crystalline brightness.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and you will be picked by Nepal Trek Adventures airport Representative.Then transfer to Hotel/Guest House 

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,462m)
After an early morning breakfast you will be driven to Syabrubesi, approximately 7 hrs away by bus. This is a lovely drive, passing fascinating scenery along the way. We arrive late afternoon at Dhunce. Dhunce is the head-quarters of Rasuwa district where we begin the Langtang Trek. In the evening we prepare for our trek to Langtang. O/N stay in Dhunche

Day 03: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel
After a trek of about one hour from Syabrubensi the small village of Wangal is reached. From here a trail branches off straight eastwards to Rasuwa Ghari. From Wangal there is a steep climb to Khanjung village. From there, after 1/2 hr climb a small village is reached, known as Surka. The climb is steep for an hour through thick forest and from there the trail continues straight but not steep. From here, after a gentle descent for nearly 3 hrs, Syarpagoan is reached. 

Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (2,990m)
From Syarpagoan, the trail then traverses up and down through the forest and Ghoratabela is reached within 5 hrs. From there, again a short climb for 1/2 hrs will bring you to a pass to the right of where the Langtang valley begins. To make short trek in this area people also end this trekking here and return back to kathmandu. Overnight in Langtang Valley.

Day 05: Langtang Valley to Kyanjing Gompa (3,798m)
From the pass, after trekking for nearly 3 hrs, Langtang village (3,414m.) is reached. From Langtang there is a gentle ascent for 4 hrs to Kyanjing Gompa. Overnight in Kyangjing Gompa.
 
Day 06: Kyanjing Gumba to Lama Hotel (2,500m)
Trek back along the valley to Lama Hotel. 
 
Day 07: Lama hotel to Sybru bensi (1,462m)
Trek back to Sybru Bensi (6 hrs) and overnight in teahouse.

Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu.
