Dolpo region lies on the north-west of Nepal which is one of the most remote areas. It is one of the popular trekking destination in western Nepal where many tourists visit every year. Lower Dolpo is also a part of Dolpo region that lies in the northwest part. This trekking area is opened for trekkers since 1989.

Shey-Phoksundo Lake is one of the main attraction of this region which is located in the Shey-Phoksundo National Park. Amazing scenic views of Dhaulagiri and Chure ranges can be seen from this region. Apart from these lakes and mountains you will get an opportunity to explore Buddhist monasteries, ancient villages. Wild animals like Mountain goat, wolf, blue sheep and snow leopard can be found in this region. This region is still restricted so it requires the special trekking permits to enter the Dolpo region.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: arrival

  • Scenic views of Dhaulagiri and Chure range can be seen.
  • Explore Shey-Phoksundo National Park and Shey-Phuksundo Lake.
  • Monasteries and ancient villages.
  • Two high passes Numa la and Baga la passes.


ü  Airport / Hotel / Airport pick up & drop facility by private tourist vehicle.

ü  Standard twin sharing accommodation in a two star hotel in Kathmandu.

ü  Lodges, Guest house accommodation during the trek.  (8 nights in a local lodge/teahouse while on trekking)

ü  Trekking Map

ü  2 nights in Kathmandu with Breakfast

ü  NTA licensed English speaking guide.

ü  Down jacket, sleeping bag and all necessary trekking gears on HIRE.

ü  Local area permit and other necessary paper work.

ü  An experienced licensed holder Guide and Needed Porters as per as your group size. (MOSTLY 2 guest=1 porter)

ü  Food, accommodation, salary, insurance, equipment and medicine for all staff.
