Trip Highlights

  • You will lose at least 5-10 lbs
  • One who has limited time frame prefers Annapurna Circuit Express Trekking.
  • Trekkers unanimously talk about the circuit for its scenic beauty of rivers, flora, fauna and mountains.
  • You see at least eight peaks including world’s deepest gorge called Dana.
  • The trek leads to famous Budddhist and Hindu holy sites, significantly Muktinath—a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists.
  • The circuit inhabits more than ten different culturally rich ethnic groups that reside in different climate zones there.

Annapurna circuit express trek is tailor-made tea house trekking for 10 days. It is best suited for those trekkers who want to enjoy trekking in the limited cost and time frame. The itinerary is designed in such fashion that one can enjoy Annapurna region circuit hiking in short time period including food and permit. Annapurna Circuit Trek has its own distinct feature. Trekkers unanimously talk about the circuit for its scenic beauty of rivers, flora, fauna, and mountains despite road construction in modern days have threatened this classic trekking site. The trail passes through Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, and Kaski (Myagdi). The trekking goes anti-clockwise from Besisahar to Nayapul and reaches to Thorong La Pass at an altitude of 5416 m. It passes series of mountains like, Manaslu which is more than 8000m.

Similarly, it passes Langtang Himal, Annapurna II and IV, Annapurna III and Gangapurna, and Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri passing through the world's deepest gorge (Dana) in between those two 8,000+ meter peaks. The main attraction of this trekking is Ganga Purna glacier, Manang Village, Muktinath Temple, and Jomsom Valley. Muktinath temple is the religious and famous temple of Hindu people all over the world. Thousands of tourists visit this temple every year. You can reach to Muktinath temple from both ways like direct drive or flight (Till Jomsom Only) from Pokhara or be making a circuit loop from Beshshahar (Direct drive from Kathmandu and Pokhara). It is a drive of around 6 hours from Kathmandu and about 4 hours from Pokhara city.

Annapurna region is the second best destination for travelers because of its wonderful landscapes, mountain ranges, glaciers, lakes, and also one the challenging pass (Thorang La Pass) across the world. In those days, Annapurna circuit trekking was famous but nowadays due road accessibility till Manang and in another side up to Muktinath, this trekking is renamed and known as "Annapurna Express Circuit Trekking". The reason behind to develop this itinerary is to avoid the road access part through driving and rest of the trails by walking. Simply you can drive till Manang in one day from Kathmandu but it is not recommended for those trekkers who are planning to cross the thorong la pass due to high chances of altitude sickness.

We recommend you to drive till Chame (District Headquarter) Manang District, ( the ending point of Manaslu Express Trekking) for making easy and comfortable trekking without any high risk of altitude sickness. The tour cost of this trekking becomes little expensive due to more usages of off-road drive and flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Rather than doing a long (Three Weeks) Annapurna Circuit trekking, it's cheap and reliably designed new short trek itinerary for Annapurna Region. Due to the elevations starting from Kathmandu (1340 Meter) to Thorng- La Pass (5416 Meter), the visitors might get the problems of altitude sickness, so guides and porter are highly recommended for your assistance to succeed (100%) the trip in the best manner. The trip ends at Jomsom Valley after crossing Thorong La pass and exploring the Muktinath Temple.

    Rating:

In 2010, my friends and I visited Nepal. After a long search for a reliable trekking company, we have decided to go with Nepal Trek Adventures to the Annapurna round trek. Binod, the manager, had organized and planned a suitable trip plan for all of out requests. We had an amazing trip with absolutely no complains. I must also recommend Amrit as a very caring and professional porter. I would have no doubt taking their service again!
