Basically, this 9 days trek to EBC starts from Kathmandu with a regular flight to Lukla. From Lukla, you will start walking through many famous places like Phakding, Namche Bazar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep. After reaching Gorakshep, you will hike to base camp and Kala Patthar, and enjoy the stunning view of snow-capped mountain chains. At the last phase of the trip, you will return back to Lukla enjoying the mountainous view of the Himalayan topography. Then, on the following day, you will fly back to Kathmandu with a regular small aircraft flight.

    Today is the first day of the Everest base camp 9 days trek. Our company representative will pick you up from your hotel and will drop you at the domestic airport. From here, you will fly toward Lukla on a regular flight. Upon reaching Lukla, you will have lunch and start your trek towards Phakding which will take around 3 to 4 hours to complete. During your trek, you will go through many uphills and downhills enjoying the stunning view of mountains, lush green forests, suspension bridges, settlements, and many more. After reaching Phakding, you can either rest or explore the village and interact with the locals. You will be staying at the hotel or tea houses and resting for the day.

    Kathmandu to Lukla flight duration: 40 minutes
    Walking time: 3 to 4 hours 
    Maximum altitude: 2610 meters

    Mountains viewed: Karyolung, Kusum Kanguru, Nupla, and Gongla

      Today you will start trek toward Namche Bazaar after completing all the morning routines and breakfast. You will be walking through the beautiful green forest of rhododendron and pine forest. Also, you will be trekking uphills through settlements and so on. You will pass through the village called Monjo during your trek to Namche Bazaar. Manjo is the entrance gate of Sagarmatha National Park where you will get an opportunity to explore the Sherpa Culture Museum and Sagarmatha National Park Museum. After a short hike along with the stunning view of mountains, you will reach Namche. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar from Phakding where you will be staying at hotels or lodges at night.

        After breakfast, you will trek toward Khumjung. It's a short 1 to 2 hours trek where you will be hiking uphills through local settlements along with the stunning view of mountains, hills, lush green forest, and more. Upon reaching Khumjung, you will have lunch and explore the village. There are many popular places to explore in Khumjung. You can also visit Hotel Everest View in Syangboche and have delicious food along with the beautiful view of the mountains in front. You can likewise roam around the monasteries, schools, hospitals, and other locally alluring places. At night you will be staying at the teahouses.

          Today you will be trekking towards Tengboche after having morning breakfast. The trek to Tengboche takes around 5 to 6 hours to complete whereas the path to Tengboche falls on the riverside of Phungi Thanga town from where you will trek uphills to Tengboche village. During your trek, you will be walking along the lush forest of rhododendron and high uphills with the amazing mountain view of Ama Dablam. After reaching Tengboche, you will explore the village, the famous Tengboche monastery, Sagarmatha National Park, and its head office. Apart from that, you can also visit some nice hotels and enjoy the delicious food and services provided by them. You will be staying overnight at a hotel or lodges.

            Today you will be trekking towards Dingboche from Tengboche after all the morning routines and breakfast. On the way to Dingboche, you will walk 30 min down to the rivers through the green forest and along with the waterway. Then, you will ascend steadily steeply toward Pangboche village (3860 m), the highest settlements area of the valley. During your trek, you will see many Chortens and Mani walls alongside the stunning view of Ama Dablam. In the evening, you will continue your trek towards Pheriche from where you will walk to Imja valley, and moving on to the last and vertical road of the day, you will reach Dingboche. It takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to reach Dingboche and after reaching your destination of the day, you can take a short hike to Nagarjuna Danda. You can also visit Dingboche Monastery in your spare time and stay at the hotel for the day.

            Walking time: 5 to 6 hours

              After early breakfast, you will start trek toward Lobuche. You will be walking for around 5 to 6 hours where you will move toward Dusa passing through the Khumbu river valley. Upon reaching Dusa, the valley becomes limited and you will pass through Phuong Karpo. You will get a chance to appreciate the magnificent view of Chola lake and Mount Pumori which will disappear when the trail descends, and, then you will head towards the stream. At the crossroads, a small forest path will lead to Dugla. From here, you will walk to the highest terminal of Khumbu Glacier and after leaving the glacier behind, the path slowly goes to Lobuche. After reaching the destination of the day, you will stay overnight at the local tea house in Lobuche.

              Walking time: 5 to 6 hours
              Maximum altitude: 6119 meters
              Accommodation: Local tea houses
              Mountains viewed: Pumori, Lobuche peak, Nuptse, Thamserku, Taboche, Kangtega, and more
              Attractions of the day: Khumbu Glacier, memorials of Sherpas and climbers, Chola Lake, rivers, streams, green forest, and so on.

                Today you will be trekking towards Gorakshep to Everest Base camp and back to Gorak Shep. The whole trek takes around 6 to 7 hours to complete. After completing your morning routines, you will start trekking towards Gorakshep which is the last stop and a temporary settlement of the Everest trekking route. During your trek, you will be walking alongside Khumbu Glacier. You will be walking through uneven and rocky downhills and uphills before reaching Gorakshep. After reaching the village, you will have lunch and start trekking towards EBC with the stunning close view of Mount Everest. During your trek to base camp, you will witness the north edge of Everest along with other surrounding mountains.  A short uphill trek will lead you to the stunning 360-degree views of mountain chains. After spending some moments at the base camp of Mount Everest, you will trek back down to Gorak Shep and rest for the day at the lodge.

                  Today you will be hiking toward Kala Patthar. So, you will start your trek early in the morning to enjoy the stunning view of sunrise. After walking upward for around 2 hours, you will reach Kala Patthar - the famous viewpoint in the Everest region (just above the base camp Everest). Upon reaching the viewpoint, you will be offered the best view of Mount Everest along with its neighboring mountains. The view of the mountains becomes more beautiful when the sun rises slowly and changes to its unique shade. During the sunrise, the Everest turns golden which will be the best view of the whole trek. After spending some time at Kala Patthar, you will head back to Gorakshep and have breakfast, and pack your bags. Then the helicopter will take you back to Lukla. After reaching Lukla, you can explore the village in your spare time and stay overnight at hotels or lodges.

At the hotel, you can either rest for the day or freshen up and get out of the hotel to roam around the places.
