Ghorepani is a village which lies in Myagdi District in the Dhaulagiri Zone of northern-central Nepal. It lies 17 km from the district capital of Beni at an elevation of 2874m (9429 ft). The world-famous Poon Hill lies in the Ghara VDC of Myagdi district at an elevation of (3210m/10531ft).

Leaving Nayapul, our journey follows the dirt trail through Birethati to Tikhedhunga settlement and You will cross Ghorepani and reach Poonhill. Poon Hill weather is usually unpredictable as it will be pretty cloudy in the spring season and the temperature ranges from 20 ˚C to 30˚C. Temperature lies in between 20˚C to 35˚C in the summer season.  There are Four seasons prevails in Poon hill. Here, Winter season lasts from December to February, Spring season exists from March to May, June to August is time for summer season while autumn season continues from September to November. October to November and March to April are the best seasons to explore Poon hill as the weather remains pretty good in these months and you can enjoy every part of poon hill closely.

If you start Ghorepani Poon hill trek from Pokhara, you will drive from your Hotel or accommodation in Pokhara to Nayapul and start the trek to Hile and to poon hill. The shortest package is of 3 days which cannot be reduced more than that but if you want to extend we are flexible as per your comfort.

If you start poon hill trek from Kathmandu, you will take an early (first) flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara of 25 minimum time in flight or drive to Pokhara via car for 5 hours and drive to Nayapul then start the trek in the same day.
