I was amazed by the convenience and breathtaking views of the Kongde to Kathmandu helicopter flight. As a trekker returning from the base camp, I wanted to save time and skip the long route back to Lukla. The teahouses served delicious local cuisine, and the warmth of the Sherpa hospitality made me feel at home in a foreign land.
