Everest Flyover with Gokyo Landing Heli Tour

As a travel photographer, I wanted something visually unique, and this heli tour absolutely delivered. The aerial views of Gokyo Valley were jaw-dropping, and the clarity of the Gokyo Lakes was unreal from above. We had just enough time to land and get shots from the ridge.

It felt untouched and wild, unlike the busier routes. The colors, the light, and the angles are perfect conditions. If you’re into photography or just love landscapes, this is the one to go for.

    Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

With limited time in Nepal, I decided to take the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour. It was one of the best choices I made during my trip. The helicopter ride gave me a completely different perspective of the Himalayas. The stop at Kala Patthar was short but magical, and breakfast at Hotel Everest View was such a treat. Everything was well-organized and punctual. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who wants to witness Everest without the trek.

Helicopter Tour to Everest with Gokyo

Most people aim just for Everest, but this tour shows you there’s so much more. Flying over the Khumbu region, I saw countless peaks and valleys I couldn’t name, but each was stunning. The Gokyo landing was peaceful, less crowded, and felt truly remote.

The lakes were even more beautiful than I imagined, especially with no wind disturbing the water. We took photos, relaxed by the lake, and enjoyed total silence. I’m glad I chose this over the usual base camp landing.

Everest Base Camp trek with NTA

Nepal is beautiful, yes—but what truly made my Everest Base Camp trek special were the people from Nepal Trek Adventure.

As a solo female traveler, safety and comfort were important to me. Binod assured me I’d be in a mixed group, and he delivered. I met lovely trekkers from Canada and the UK, and we bonded deeply over the 14 days.

Our guide, Tribhuvan, made everything fun—even the tough climbs! We sang songs, played cards at night, and had deep conversations about Sherpa life and Himalayan history.

I appreciated the respect NTA shows to porters and locals. The teahouses they partner with are locally owned, and their sustainability mindset made me feel good about choosing them.

Base Camp was the physical destination, but this journey was more emotional than I expected.

Kiitos Nepal Trek Adventure for making me feel safe, inspired, and connected. I’ll be back!

    Kathmandu to Lukla Helicopter Flight

Kathmandu’s morning traffic was intense, but once we reached the helipad and boarded our flight with NTA, the world changed.

In just 45 minutes, we flew from dusty roads to pristine mountains. The change in atmosphere, scenery, and air was magical. I couldn’t stop taking photos.

The helicopter was well-maintained, and our pilot gave us confidence. The landing at Lukla was exciting—what a location for an airport!

Hvala, Nepal Trek Adventure. The ride was more than transport—it was a breathtaking transition into the Himalayas.

    Mount Everest Helicopter Tour

I have always wanted to see Mount Everest, but not to the extent where I wanted to spend two weeks trekking it. This helicopter tour was the perfect arrangement. The views were amazing from the moments we handled. We flew past Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest, and we were even able to land at Kala Patthar, which was the highlight for me. I never thought I would get that close to the world’s highest peak. Nepal Trek Adventure made the whole process as smooth and safe as possible. Every single one of their pennies was amazing.

    Everest Flyover with Gokyo landing

I had already seen Everest from Kala Patthar on a past trip, so this time I wanted something different, and the Everest Flyover with Gokyo landing was the perfect choice. The flight gave us stunning aerial views of not only Everest but also Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and a series of pristine glacial lakes. The landing at Gokyo was beyond beautiful. I had seen photos of the lakes before, but standing beside them in real life, with those turquoise waters reflecting the peaks, was a different level of awe.

We had enough time to explore the ridge and soak in the scenery without feeling rushed. The peacefulness there is hard to describe; it’s quieter than EBC and feels untouched. Nepal Trek Adventure handled everything smoothly, from pickup to safety checks. For anyone who wants to see the Himalayas without following the typical route, this tour is a must.

Group Helicopter Flight from Lukla Made Easy

I was traveling solo but didn’t want to wait days for a flight. NTA matched me with other trekkers for a group Lukla to Kathmandu helicopter flight. The ride was thrilling, safe, and on time. Thanks, Nepal Trek Adventures, for making solo travel feel so supported. I’d absolutely recommend this service to anyone returning from the Everest region.
