Our guide excelled in organizing everything and imparting knowledge about the region's traditions. The trek wasn’t too challenging, making it suitable for people of all ages with moderate fitness.

The highlight for me was reaching Poon Hill at dawn. Watching the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges bathed in morning light was a magical experience. Anticipation built up as we tightened our life jackets and listened carefully to the safety briefing. The Trishuli River flowed steadily beside us, looking calm at first glance, but that illusion disappeared the moment we hit the first rapid. Within seconds, the raft surged forward, crashing through foamy white water that splashed straight into our faces.

Each rapid had its own personality. Some came as sudden drops that made my heart jump, while others twisted us through churning currents that demanded perfect teamwork. One of my favorite moments was when we purposely jumped into the calmer stretch of the river, letting the cool water carry us downstream. Floating under the open sky with mountains surrounding us felt incredibly refreshing.

When I arrived at the Ramechhap airport, one of the straps of my backpack had snapped during the early morning drive. I was already anxious about the flight, and this added stress didn’t help. But the team from Nepal Trek Adventure was quick to step in.
