Finally, the dream of a lifelong trekker with over fifty years on planet Earth, namely myself, became actualized earlier this year through the Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return from Nepal Trek Adventure. The 11-day trip had been implemented so well that it embraced everything in the Everest region. From the moment we stepped out of Kathmandu Airport, our service was brilliant.

The trek in itself was amazing and each day we soaked up views that were more and more impressive. The days off in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche for acclimatization were essential, as they gave us the time to rest properly (and with a medical follow-up) but also remain active, so we could attune our bodies naturally.

Everest Base Camp was the pinnacle point, and a helicopter brought us back down to Lukla for an ultimate finish. The Himalayas from the air are incredible. Nepal Trek Adventure has made this unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime journey possible. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had always dreamed of going on an arranged trip like the Upper Mustang Trek. The isolated and mystical landscapes of Mustang provided the ideal backdrop for an intimate experience. It was our favorite part of the trip to stay at a local home in Lo Manthang in the evening. We sat outside under the stars, drank traditional Tibetan tea, and thought about our trip. We were able to connect more deeply because we were away from the stresses of daily life and in peace.

Looking up at Ama Dablam for the first time, I felt a mix of awe and excitement. Summit day was the culmination of days of effort and anticipation. Starting before dawn, I carefully followed the route, each movement deliberate and mindful. Standing at the top, with Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu in the distance, I felt a wave of achievement, gratitude, and pure exhilaration.

Going on the Everest Base Camp trip by myself was a way to learn about myself and think about things. I felt more connected to nature and to myself with each step. Even though the problems were scary at times, the satisfaction of reaching Base Camp was hard to explain. The trek took me out of my comfort zone, pushed me to my limits, and made me realize how strong and resilient I am on the inside.
