The trek to Everest Base Camp wasn't just a physical journey; it was a spiritual awakening. Each day brought encounters with ancient monasteries perched precariously on cliff edges, their colorful prayer wheels spinning like silent prayers in the wind. 

Reaching Base Camp for me wasn't just about ticking a box; it was a moment of introspection, a feeling of being a speck amidst the majestic immensity of the Himalayas. My grandfather, a great man, had attempted the Everest Base Camp trek in his youth but was unable to complete it. In his memory, I embarked on the same journey. Reaching Base Camp felt like a tribute to his spirit and a way to connect with his legacy. We decided on a whim to visit Nepal, and when we asked, Binod of the NTA firm was the first to get back to us. Now that the Annapurna base camp trek is over, we can say that we made the perfect choice. The accommodations were adequate, and we had a warm, homey feeling.

I was travelling to Nepal for work. It was a 10-day visit to Nepal, and I absolutely loved the people and the nature there. All of my clients were talking about going on a trek to Everest. I, however, did not have enough time for trekking, so we all decided to do the EBC helicopter tour together.
