I had always wanted to see Langtang but had limited time, so a helicopter tour felt perfect. I booked independently this time, wanting the experience to be spontaneous. The thrill of lift-off, the panoramic views, and the crisp mountain air made me feel alive in a way I hadn’t in years. At one point, we hovered near Langtang Lirung, and I could see climbers’ tiny tracks on the snow; it was surreal. Landing back in Kathmandu, I felt a mixture of relief and wonder—a short experience, yet one that packed a lifetime of mountain memories.
