I always thought seeing Mount Everest would require a tough trek and two weeks of leave—but this helicopter tour proved me completely wrong. The whole experience was luxurious, quick, and beyond thrilling. We flew out from Kathmandu early morning, and within minutes, we were gliding over green hills and snowy ridges. The moment Everest appeared through the window, I had goosebumps. It looked massive and majestic, and honestly, no photo or video does it justice. The pilot gave us great views of all the major peaks and gently landed at Kala Patthar. Doing the Nagarkot Day Hike was one of the most memorable parts of my Nepal trip. The walk was gentle yet rewarding, giving plenty of chances to take photos and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The trail was quiet, shaded by forests in some areas and opening into farmlands in others, making it a varied and interesting journey. I especially enjoyed passing through local villages, where people welcomed us warmly, and I got to see how rural life still thrives near Kathmandu. 

Reaching Nagarkot viewpoint was the highlight, as the mountain views were spectacular. On a clear day, you can see several Himalayan ranges, and the sunset from there was simply magical. This is a hike I would recommend to anyone, whether they are new to trekking or experienced hikers with limited time.

My two best friends and I booked the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour as part of our graduation trip. It was the most exciting and luxurious day of our entire Nepal adventure.

From our hotel pickup to the scenic flight over Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, we felt safe and pampered. The helicopter was spacious enough for great views and we took turns in the front seat during different legs of the flight.
