I was picked up from my hotel in Kathmandu early morning and driven to the domestic terminal. The check-in process was smooth, and within an hour, I was aboard a comfortable helicopter heading into the Himalayas.

The flight over Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar was beyond breathtaking. The pilot even did a slow circle so we could all capture photos of Mt. Everest up close. Although we didn’t land at EBC, the aerial view was much better than I imagined.

We landed at Hotel Everest View where a warm breakfast was served with panoramic views of Ama Dablam and Everest itself. I couldn't believe I was sipping tea at the highest hotel in the world! The return flight was smooth, and by mid-day, I was back in Kathmandu — still stunned by what I'd experienced.

Highly recommended for those who want the Everest experience but don’t have the time or stamina for the trek.
