I will always remember how important it was for me to take on the Upper Mustang Trek by myself. The trip through the old kingdom of Mustang was like going back in time because of the beautiful scenery, hidden monasteries, and friendly people. I was able to connect deeply with nature and my own thoughts as I hiked alone through the empty fields and high mountain passes. Every day brought new problems to solve and things to learn, like the mysterious caves in Chhoser and the spiritual atmosphere of Lo Manthang.

The best part of my trip by myself was when I got to the old walled city of Lo Manthang. It was amazing to see how the streets were so winding and how the temples were so old. I got lost in the peace and quiet of the place and thought about how simple life can be in the middle of such natural beauty.

Trekking through the Kali Gandaki River valley was a unique and unforgettable experience. The Jomsom Trek through Kali Gandaki offered stunning views of both Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, creating one of the world’s deepest gorge experiences. Every day, the trail revealed new landscapes from green farmland and orchards to dry Mustang-like terrain. Marpha village was a highlight, with its quaint streets and delicious apple treats. Kagbeni provided a glimpse into Tibetan-influenced culture, with monasteries and local traditions.

The trail was moderate, perfect for a trek that balances adventure with comfort. Nights were spent in cozy teahouses, and the guidance of local guides ensured a smooth journey. Strong winds in Jomsom town made the destination feel wild and memorable. This trek through Kali Gandaki is ideal for trekkers who want stunning scenery, cultural immersion, and a manageable Himalayan adventure.

Going on the Everest Luxury Lodge Trek with my friends was like nothing else I've ever done. Every step we took was worth it because we were hiking with each other through beautiful Himalayan scenery. We found this trek very satisfying, as, in comparison to other treks in Nepal, the Tamang Heritage Trail was surprisingly affordable and the trail was less crowdy. The guesthouses were reasonably priced, and the food was simple but delicious. It allowed me to experience the beauty of Nepal without breaking the bank. Through our whole trekking route, we get to enjoy the trek to its fullest as the path is less crowded. our decision to book this trek was good and we would also like to thank NTA for their recommendations and support throughout the journey.
