From the very first day in Upper Rolwaling, I knew this was not an ordinary trek. Mornings began early, with cold air biting my face and clouds drifting slowly across massive rock walls. The trail was rough and demanding, often forcing me to move carefully and deliberately. Weather changed without warning sunshine could turn into wind and snow within hours and every step required respect for the mountains.

Leaving Namche Bazaar by helicopter felt like closing the final chapter of an unforgettable Himalayan story. After days of steady trekking, dusty trails, and quiet mountain mornings, the moment the helicopter lifted off was surreal. The familiar paths I had walked bridges, villages, and ridgelines suddenly appeared far below, stitched together through deep valleys and dramatic cliffs.

As we gained altitude, the Everest region unfolded in a way I had never seen before. During the acclimatization period, special experiences were prepared for instance guided tours and luxury treatments. From Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel, Langtang valley and Kyanjing Gompa comfortable trek was accompanied by experienced guides and personal porters. Among the specific activities planned for the acclimatization day were guided tours, spa treatments among others. The Everest Base Camp Trek with a helicopter return pacakage of NTA was far beyond the idea I had in mind. An 11-day trek, filled to the brim with adventures of all kinds, was synonymous with each day and every walk between them.

One of the best moments was climbing Kala Patthar, where you can admire a panoramic view of Everest and its surrounding peaks clearly. Our return trip via helicopter to Lukla was a major highlight of the trek as it offered some of the best views I had ever seen before.
