Reaching the turquoise lakes felt magical; the mountains reflecting in the water looked like a painting. Climbing Gokyo Ri at sunrise offered a panoramic view of Everest, Cho Oyu, and Makalu that I’ll never forget. The trek was challenging at times, with cold winds and rocky trails, but every step was worth it. Finishing the journey with a helicopter ride back to Kathmandu was exhilarating; flying over glaciers and peaks allowed me to see the entire region from above. This trek perfectly combined adventure, nature, and convenience.

As a travel photographer, I was looking for the best way to capture Nepal’s stunning landscapes, and the Kathmandu to Lukla helicopter flight was perfect!
