The Annapurna Base Camp Trek – 5 Days with Nepal Trek Adventure was a dream come true. From day one, the trail amazed me with its beauty—lush forests, waterfalls, and quaint villages, each step bringing me closer to the Annapurna Sanctuary. What surprised me was how achievable the trek felt, even within just five days. The highlight was standing at Annapurna Base Camp itself, surrounded by towering peaks like Machhapuchhre and Annapurna I. The views at sunrise were simply unforgettable. Our guide and porter team were incredible—professional, friendly, and always looking out for us. The accommodations along the way were clean and welcoming, and meals were delicious, giving us the energy we needed. I truly appreciated how Nepal Trek Adventure balanced adventure with comfort in this short trek. For anyone seeking a compact yet scenic Himalayan journey, this trek is unbeatable.

Our group trek depended on timely arrival in Lukla, and the regular flights were being delayed day after day. That’s when Binod at Nepal Trek Adventure arranged a last-minute helicopter transfer.

Within hours, we were at the domestic terminal, and minutes later, soaring over deep valleys and jagged peaks.

The landing in Lukla was smoother than expected and gave us a two-day head start compared to other trekkers stuck in Kathmandu.

I finished my Everest trek in Lukla and didn’t want to risk missing my flight home. NTA arranged a Lukla to Kathmandu helicopter flight the next morning. The ride was smooth and filled with panoramic views. The pilot was skilled, and the service was well-organized. Nepal Trek Adventures made it incredibly easy. I wouldn’t book with anyone else!

I loved this 5-day getaway to Bhutan. It felt quick but left huge impressions. The drive from Paro airport up to Thimphu was so relaxing: nice smooth roads, rivers rushing by, green hills everywhere, zero crazy traffic. I felt chilled out right from the start.

In Thimphu we hit the main highlights: those impressive dzongs, a few peaceful stupas, and the weekend market (super colorful and lively if you time it right). My guide was spot-on explaining Buddhism and everyday Bhutanese life in a simple, interesting way without overdoing it. The hotel was cozy, the room had killer mountain views, and waking up to that fresh air made me happy every morning.

Day 2 we crossed Dochula La to Punakha prayer flags, chortens, and those Himalayan peek-a-boos were stunning. Punakha Dzong between the rivers felt magical and calm.

The next few days gave us more time: easy valley walks around Paro, riverside spots, and soaking in the local vibe before the big finale. The Tiger’s Nest trek was tough and steep as heck and my legs were complaining but reaching those caves and seeing the monastery hanging off the cliff? Pure wow. Sat there feeling calm with the flags flapping and wind blowing. Everyone was so nice the whole trip, food simple but really tasty (fresh and flavorful every meal).

Short trip but it nailed all the big moments: culture, nature, peace. No regrets at all. Perfect if you’re busy or just want a real first taste of Bhutan. I’ll definitely go back for more!
